These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any purchase you make from us. Please read them carefully before you place an order. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms, together with the policies listed below, which form part of your agreement with us:

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

1. About Us

This website is operated by ABD AUTOMATES LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17001768), trading as “AbdChoice” (“we”, “us” or “our”). AbdChoice is an online-only retailer of women’s clothing, including knitwear, cardigans, jackets, trousers and sets.

2. Who Can Use Our Website and Where We Sell

If you are under 18, you may use our website and place an order only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian.

We currently sell and deliver to addresses in the United Kingdom only. All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP).

3. Our Products

We take reasonable care to describe and photograph our products accurately, including colours, sizes and measurements. Colours may look slightly different depending on your screen settings, and small measurement variations can occur during garment production. Please check the size guide and product details before you order. These small variations do not on their own mean an item is faulty or not as described, and they do not affect your statutory rights.

All products are subject to availability. We may discontinue products or update product information at any time, but this will not affect an order we have already accepted.

4. Prices and Payment

Prices on our website are shown in GBP and include applicable UK VAT. The total shown at checkout, including VAT and any delivery charge, is the amount you pay. We do not add further charges after checkout, and you will not be asked to pay import duty or customs fees on delivery. Any delivery charges are set out in our Shipping Policy and shown at checkout.

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payments are handled by secure third-party payment providers, and we do not store your full card details. By placing an order, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method you provide. Payment must be authorised in full before an order is processed. We may carry out reasonable fraud checks and may ask you for additional verification.

Prices may change from time to time, but the price that applies to your order is the one shown when you place it. If we discover a pricing error after you have ordered, we will tell you before dispatch and give you the choice of continuing at the correct price or cancelling for a full refund. We will not hold you to an unreasonable price, and we will not use this clause to remove any of your legal rights.

5. Placing an Order and Contract Formation

Placing an order is an offer to buy. After you order, we will email you an order confirmation to acknowledge that we have received it. This is not our acceptance of your order. Our contract with you is formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation or otherwise tell you that your order has been accepted.

We may decline or cancel an order for a legitimate reason, for example if an item is unavailable, there is an error in the price or product information, we cannot authorise your payment, or we reasonably suspect fraud. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund you in full.

You can place an order as a guest or by creating an account. Please check your order details, including your delivery address, before you submit.

6. Delivery

Our delivery methods, processing times, estimated delivery times and charges are set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Unless we agree a different date with you, we will deliver your order without undue delay and within 30 days of your order. If we do not, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund.

The goods remain at our risk until they are delivered to you or to a person you have named to receive them. Ownership passes to you once we have received payment in full and the goods have been delivered.

7. Your Right to Cancel and Returns

You have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, and a further 14 days to send the goods back. We also offer a 30-day return policy. Full details, including how to return an item, who pays return postage and when you will be refunded, are in our Refund Policy. Please read it before you place an order.

8. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If an item arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please contact us at help@abdchoice.com with your order number and photographs. Your rights to a refund, repair, replacement or price reduction are explained in our Refund Policy and are not limited by these Terms.

9. Discounts and Promotions

We may offer discount codes and promotions, including new-customer offers. Each offer is subject to the conditions stated when it is offered, such as eligibility, dates and whether it can be combined with other offers. Unless we say otherwise, one discount code can be used per order, codes have no cash value, and codes apply only to eligible products. If a code is applied by mistake or misused, we may remove it before dispatch and will tell you if we do. Discounted items remain subject to these Terms and our Refund Policy.

10. Your Account

If you create an account, you must give accurate information and keep it up to date. Please keep your sign-in verification codes confidential and tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed your account. We may suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or the account is being misused.

11. Using Our Website

You may use our website for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You must not:

Use it for any unlawful, fraudulent or harmful purpose.
Try to gain unauthorised access to our systems or interfere with their security or operation.
Introduce viruses or other malicious code.
Collect data from our website by automated means, such as scraping, or collect other people’s personal information.
Copy, resell or commercially exploit our products’ content, images, descriptions or prices without our permission.

We may restrict or suspend access if we reasonably believe these rules have been broken. We aim to keep our website available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

12. Feedback and Contributions

If you send us feedback, comments, photographs or other content, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it is lawful and not misleading or defamatory. You allow us to use it to operate, improve and promote our business. We may decline to publish, or may remove, content that breaches these Terms or the law.

13. Intellectual Property

The content of this website, including text, images, product photographs, logos and the “AbdChoice” name and design, belongs to ABD AUTOMATES LIMITED or to owners who have given us permission to use it, and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or use it without our written permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use.

14. Third-Party Links and Services

Our website may link to websites or use services run by third parties, such as payment providers, delivery carriers, tracking tools and our online store platform. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content or practices. Please read their terms and privacy notices.

15. Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy, the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email we send.

16. Our Liability

If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or of our failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it is obvious that it will happen, or if you and we both knew when the contract was made that it might happen.

We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for any loss of profit, business or business opportunity if you buy goods for business purposes, as our products are sold for personal use.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your legal rights regarding the goods you buy, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

17. Events Beyond Our Control

We are not responsible for a delay or failure to meet our obligations that is caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, carrier or supplier disruption, government action or technical failures. If such an event affects your order, we will tell you as soon as we reasonably can and take reasonable steps to limit the delay. This does not affect your right to cancel and be refunded if we cannot deliver within 30 days or as otherwise agreed, or your other legal rights.

18. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at help@abdchoice.com with your order number and details. We aim to acknowledge complaints within 24 hours on business days and to resolve them as quickly as we can.

We are not a member of an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme. If we cannot resolve your complaint, we will tell you in writing whether we agree to use an ADR provider. You may still contact an ADR provider or Citizens Advice for guidance, and nothing here affects your right to go to court.

19. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law or in how we operate. The Terms that apply to your order are those published on this page when you place it. Changes will not affect orders we have already accepted. We may also update or discontinue parts of our website, and we will not do so in a way that removes any of your legal rights.

20. General

Severability: if any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
No waiver: if we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not lose it.
Entire agreement: these Terms and the linked policies are the whole agreement between you and us about your purchase, subject to your statutory rights.
Transfer: you may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may transfer ours to another business, provided this does not reduce your rights.
Third parties: no one other than you and us has any right to enforce these Terms.

21. Governing Law

These Terms, and any dispute or claim connected with them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your home country, and you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
